Pay depending on if you negotiate might be mid-package in Dubai. The school is poorly run, management lack experience and are out of their depth. Working hours are long for no reason, staff are asked to stay behind with no reason given. Other schools in Dubai allow more flexibility.
Having worked in leadership, I came away deeply disappointed by how this school is managed. Many of the problems teachers experience are not random. They flow directly from decisions made at the top. There is also a disturbing lack of regard for staff wellbeing. I saw people pushed far beyond what should reasonably be expected of employees. A school cannot continually demand loyalty, flexibility, and sacrifice from employees while failing to show the same basic duty of care in return. There are good people here. The problem is what happens above them.
