the owner… is an abusive sociopath. He’s a terrifying human being who took every chance he could to berate, belittle, and insult teachers. This was often done in front of others—staff, students, parents—with many ending up in tears… It’s a shame because the job itself is fine. I found the hours and compensation to be reasonable, and most of my students were wonderful. But all of that doesn’t matter when you’re showing up to work everyday with a knot in your stomach…
